1. Foreign Exchange Gain / Loss

: 가장 일반적이고 널리 사용되는 표현입니다.

환율 변동으로 인해 외화를 거래하거나 환산할 때 발생한 손익을 의미합니다.

e.g.)

"The company reported a foreign exchange gain due to the depreciation of the local currency."

.          회사는 자국 통화의 가치 하락으로 인해 환차익을 보고했습니다.

2. Currency Translation Gain / Loss

: 회계 기준(IFRS, US GAAP)에서 자회사 재무제표를 본사 통화로 환산(translation)할 때 발생하는 손익입니다.

실제 현금 흐름 없이 장부상으로 생기는 손익일 수 있습니다.

          IFRS 기준에 따라 환산손익은 기타포괄손익에 반영됩니다.
