31일차. ♣ Unit 3. Leadership - LESSON 1 MENTORING A NEW EMPLOYEE [Training plan]
※ Identifying areas to work on
*The first thing to do when making a training plan is to identify the areas in which the person needs to improve. Use expressions like these:
We need to identify areas where there is room for improvement.
A: Is there anything you're struggling with?
B: I'm having a lot of problems meeting my deadlines.
A: What is an area where you think there's room for improvement?
B: My proficiency in the language is less than I'd like.
A: My role is to support you. Where do you think you could use some help?
B: I could use some help figuring out a better way to manage my time.
※ Making an action plan
*Once you've identified the areas for improvement, you can develop an action plan.
What are our next steps?
It seems as if you have three areas to work on.
Initially, let's focus on your language needs.
@We'll often be working side by side.
• side by side
1-close together and facing in the same direction
There were two children ahead, walking side by side.
앞에는 두 명의 아이들이 나란히 걸어가고 있었다.
The two sat side by side on the bench.
2-together, without any difficulties
: 함께 (아무런 어려움 없이)
We have been using both systems, side by side, for two years.
우리는 양 시스템을 2년 동안 함께 사용해 오고 있다.
The two communities exist happily side by side.
그 두 공동체는 행복하게 공존하고 있다.
We should have weekly check-ins.
