★ Ref) yet 개념
<1> YET
Yet used with the present perfect means 'at any time up to now'. We use it to emphasise that we expect something to happen soon. Yet (in this context) is only used in negative sentences and questions.
Have you finished your homework yet?
I haven't finished it yet. I'll do it after dinner.
A. Where's Sam? B: He hasn't arrived yet.
Yet comes at the end of the sentence or question. (yet은 보통, 일반적으로 문미에 둠)
상기 맥락에서 【부정문 + 현재완료】 / 【의문문 + 현재완료】 형태로 사용된다.
<2> YET
Yet refers to an action that is expected in the future. It is not used in the past.
Yet is occasionally used in affirmative sentences, giving the sentences a similar meaning as the use of still. Note that this is more formal and not common.
*have yet to do something
*be yet to do something
Often, we use still and yet together to explain why an action is continuing.
<3> YET
♣ 【already VS yet-어법】
1. already VS Yet의 용법
(1) Yes, No의 대답을 기대하고 「이미, 벌써 …한 것입니까?」라고 묻는 의문문에서는 yet을 쓰며, 긍정의 대답을 기대한 의문문에서는 already를 씀
• Have you met her yet? 그녀를 이미, 벌써 만났습니까?
• Have you met her already? 그녀를 이미, 벌써 만났겠군요?
(2) what이나 who 등 wh-로 시작되는 단어가 문두에 오는 글에서는 yet은 쓰이지 않으며, *Why has he left yet? 등으로는 말하지 않음.

※ still:

She still hasn't replied to my email. Maybe she's on holiday.

It is used in affirmative sentences in the present or past, but never future.
In present tense sentences, it is placed between the subject and verb.
